Purple Bear Music Workshops focus on social interaction, participation, and individual expression through group performance with a range of accessible melodic and percussion instruments. We have a number of activities to suit residents of all abilities, and we will work with you to ensure individual needs are met so the workshop is fully inclusive for all involved.

Purple Bear Music Workshop - Music and Movement

​45 minutes + 30 minutes (with a 15-20 minute break between)
Workshop will include:
Part 1 - Creativity and Expression

rhythms & dynamics (following instructions, leadership)

shifting drones (leadership, improvisation, listening to others, following instructions)

guided 4 chord song (listening to others, following instructions)

pattern creation* (creative, individual expression, listening to others)

Boogie Woogie performance (confidence, working together, creativity and individual expression)
